Oh well.

Please don’t mention the word internet to me. Please don’t….

The engineer came round on time, looked at the connection, changed the sockets in the house, retested the line and it was all working fine. As soon as he left it got worse again. Getting speed under 1 Meg, it STILL disconnects and it’s just crap.

So I haven’t really been around much today or last night for that matter, I’ve just been annoyed too much.

Also been doing a few other things, but it’s been a slow day.

I didn’t get the job I went for an interview for, oh well, I’m sure another one will come along soon. I am seriously tempted to go to uni now and maybe study. I also get the feeling that I want to move away. Most of the things that I liked about here aren’t that great any more. Might move more to the North of the UK, possibly close to my friend Kizzi.

Kizzi is coming back possibly this weekend and then she will be staying for a good few weeks into January. I can’t wait to see her, it’s been such a long time since I’ve seen her.

Oh and really, do no mention the internet. I am serious. :(

I want to say something so badly..

But I won’t, because that really sucks.

I can’t believe you didn’t get that job, it seemed like you had what they wanted.. I was just about to ask you today if you got it, too :(

I agree with Matt too.I wanna say something too but won’t cause you don’t want to hear that word.

Actually,I’d sue the ******** company if I were you.It worked fine as long as the engineer was there and then screwed up again? That’s so not happening.

    No internet conversation on here.

Yeah, that job, well it seemed great, but it involved sacrifices I didn’t want to make.

Whilst I don’t want to mention the I word, I do you want to know if you’re with BT. Some friends of mine were having similar problems and they kept pestering and pestering. Eventually they found the email address for the MD and emailed him. Funnily enough within a week their internet connection was sorted. Apparently there was a problem with the underground cabling. You might also (if you’re with BT) phone them and demand they turn up the amplification on your line. How far are you from your telephone exchange?

  5. carocat says:

The exchange is around the corner.

This is the thing, the line was prefectly fine when he tested it, we had around 7Meg and it wasn’t cutting out. 10 mins later it’s gone back to normal.

I don’t know near enough about it to even begin to sort it. All I know is that PLusnet/BT are saying it fine, but it really isn’t.

    Look at this: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/116611295012170718564.html

That isn’t fine to me. And the worst, it is cutting out ALL the time. It’s now more than once every 2 hours which disrupts just everything.

Well Cat, if they don’t do something about it soon, you have the power of the community! Get the word out, chances are it will soon be sorted. :)

  7. carocat says:

    I’ll keep that in mind.
