GTA IV advert in New York

Rockstar and Take2 do love to provoke. After receiving some rather bad press last week on how New York politicians don’t want to see the game being set there, they now retaliated by placing a massive GTA IV advert in the streets of New York.

Whilst that is just asking for trouble, I absolutely love it. The advert itself is simple and effective, just like most of Rockstar’s advertisements in the past.

I wonder just how long it will stay up?

I wonder how much longer people will start looking into stuff that isn’t even there?

Personally I don’t see the problem, Politicans as a group are very diverse so they will literally argue about anything to get in the Paper. As for the Adert been posted everywhere, and to be honest it doesn’t make me the slightest bit interested.

Yea it’s a crappy Advert, people look into things too much. If they wanted to be funny or controversial I would of hoped they would of went further than that.

Why is it a crappy ad? I think it’s brilliant, it doesn’t show too much, yet enough for people involved to realise what it is.

I love this kind of plain advertisement.
